FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Helpful to know before creating your keepsake.

Answers about photos, personalization and your personal 3D gift.

Photos & reference

Everything that makes a good reference photo.

How are my photos used and how long are they stored?

We use your photos for your order and may share them with design, production and technical service providers as needed. We normally retain them in our store for about 90 days from the order date. We use them for advertising, our website or social media only with your prior consent. You can request deletion.

What kind of photo should I provide for a personalised figurine?

A clear, well-lit photo without heavy filters is a great starting point. Make sure the face or distinctive features, hairstyle, clothing and pose can be seen. Additional angles, such as a side view or a full-body photo, help us understand the details. For a pet figurine, clear views of the eyes, muzzle, markings and body shape are especially helpful.

Is one photo enough to make my figurine?

It depends on the product and the details you’d like us to capture. A clear main photo is a good start; extra views can help with hairstyle, clothing, pose or coat markings. The product page explains which photos and details are needed for your chosen style.

Can I order a figurine of my dog, cat or another pet?

Yes. We make personalised pet figurines from photos, including hand-sculpted soft-clay designs and 3D-printed styles. You can compare the options on each product page. Clear photos of your pet’s eyes, markings and pose help us capture their individual character.

Can I upload any photo as a reference?

Please only use photos you took yourself or have permission to use. If other people are identifiable, make sure you have their consent. You can find details about how personal data is handled in our privacy policy.

Design & technique

The right 3D format for your idea.

Which size should I choose for my chenille pet figurine?

The small size is suitable for small cats and dogs. We recommend medium for most pets and large for large dogs. The level of detail varies with size.

How does a custom brick portrait from a photo work?

You receive a design preview before production, with two free revisions. Production takes approximately 7–9 business days after your approval. You receive a kit with assembly instructions. Shipping time is additional.

What kinds of personalised 3D gifts does Pyracraft offer?

Depending on your photo and idea, you can choose from hand-sculpted soft-clay figurines, 3D-printed figures, wool-felt pets, chenille-wire figures and brick-built portraits. We also offer other personalised 3D gifts, such as cushions, leather portraits and photo ceramics. Materials and finishes vary, so please compare the product details before ordering.

What’s the difference between a hand-sculpted and a 3D-printed figurine?

A soft-clay figurine is shaped by hand, giving it an expressive, handmade look. A 3D-printed figurine is created from a digital model and produced using a printing process. Style, finish, sizes and production steps depend on the product; the relevant product page explains the specific details.

Can I request specific clothing, poses, colours or details?

Yes. Add your requests in the personalisation fields on the product page, with as much detail as possible. What we can create depends on the product and its available options. Please contact us before ordering if you have a request that isn’t listed.

Can you include several people or pets in one figurine?

This isn’t available for every style. Check the options on the product page and contact us before ordering if you’d like several people or pets together. We’ll confirm what’s possible for your chosen product.

Will I receive a photo of my finished figurine before it ships?

This depends on the product. The product page for our hand-sculpted soft-clay figurine describes a photo preview of the finished model before dispatch. For other products, please check the details on the relevant product page; previews aren’t included with every item.

Ordering & making

What happens after you order.

When does production of a 3D-printed figurine begin?

Before modeling, we send four reference views for your approval. If we do not hear from you within three business days, the views are treated as approved and modeling and production begin. Each revision after approval adds approximately one business day.

How do I order a personalised 3D gift?

Choose a product and the available options first. Then upload your reference photo and add any notes in the personalisation fields. Check your details before completing the order. If you’re unsure which product to choose or have a special request, please contact us before ordering.

How much does a personalised figurine cost?

The price depends on the product and options you choose, such as size or finish. You’ll see the current price on the product page before adding the item to your basket. Delivery costs are shown at checkout; delivery is free on orders over €50, as stated on our shipping page.

How long do production and delivery take?

Production and delivery times depend on the product and destination. Please check the current estimate on the product page and the information on our Shipping & Payment page. Delivery estimates can vary by destination and shipping conditions.

Can I change or cancel my order?

Please email info@pyracraft.com as soon as possible and include your order number. For personalised products, changes or cancellations depend on whether production has started. We’ll review your order and let you know what’s still possible.
